Spring Flowers: Flemish Style with Victoria Singolda

Iris & Virgil is coming to Israel.

Taking inspiration from the cascading, densely colored still life compositions of Bruegel and his 16th-century contemporaries, emerging NYC floral designer Victoria Singolda—whose romantic, and wild style is inspired by the Dutch Old Masters—shows you how to arrange roses, peonies, bearded iris, fritillaria, and other spring time favorites with fresh fruit, into a floral masterpiece of your own. 350 nis materials fee.

Class will include a brief historical snapshot on method to Flemish style arranging, a demonstration of how to create an arrangement in the style, and a hands on session so students can try their own hand at creating a Flemish arrangement with some of the world's most beautiful spring time stems. Wine and light snacks will be served.

There will be an opportunity to photograph your finished arrangement on a styled backdrop, so bring your camera to capture your floral masterpiece in a painterly moment.

Please bring:
Scissors, a camera, and a box or bag to carry home your arrangement. Vessel for flowers will be provided.
